In order to have ICTA evaluate a partner for a "Winner", "Top 5" or "Top 10" Customers Choice Award, the partner must be vetted by ICTA which includes the following:
1. LinkedIn Profile Page Review
2. Interview of Partner
3. Interview of others who endorse Partner
4. Review of Partner website if applicable
This vetting takes place when the partner first applies and then monthly whenever other partners apply for the same award.
After initial award vetting is complete, partner receives an email indicating the award that has been won that includes a link to download the award artwork as well as a press release that the partner can use to promote the award on their website, social media and other marketing materials.
To fund the vetting process ICTA charges a vetting fee to each applicant of $95 per month with the first six months prepaid.

Awards are redetermined by ongoing vetting at the beginning of each calendar year.
If an award winner stops paying their ongoing monthly or annual vetting fee then they become inelligible for the award and remove any electronic versions of the copyright protected artwork on websites, email signatures, social media accounts and any other publicly viewable electronic media.
